Spirit Adventures Updated Covid Policy

At Spirit Adventures, we recognize the seriousness of the impacts the COVID-19 Virus and the resultant pandemic. We wish for the health and safety of all our staff and clients, and for all our communities. As Leaders in our fields, we are faced with many difficult decisions regarding our respective operations and the ability to move forward safely and responsibly. At Spirit Adventures, we have chosen to continue our operations, and we want to share with you the precautions we are taking to minimize the impacts we may have on your program as attempt to create the safest experience for all involved.

  1. We will continue to perform inspection and repair services for facilities located outdoors. We will do our best to minimize personal contact and maintain social distancing as per recommendations. You may wish the have a representative unlock any areas that need to be unlocked prior to our arrival so we don’t have to transfer a key.
  2. We ask that you inform us if there is any projected use of your course or equipment within 48 hours of our visit.
  3. As we travel, our staff has been tasked with the following measure to keep all of us safer:
    1. Frequent handwashing or cleaning.
    1. Stay home if you are not feeling well.
    1. Minimize time in establishments necessary for our travel, such as shopping, dining, travel needs, etc.
    1. Eliminate large gatherings.
  4. We will be purposeful in scheduling any travel or inspection and repair that requires us to be in occupied indoor areas, particularly schools or large community centers in order to minimize the time and amount of contact with others. Also, if you have a local policy or regulation that would prohibit us from visiting your location, please inform us so that we can make the appropriate adjustments.
  5. We have also developed various scenarios for staff training with protocols for distancing, sanitizing and quarantine. We have a variety of options at our disposal including virtual training, and we will work with each client to ensure that the training programs we design and deliver align with the protocols for your facility and location.

Hopefully, some common sense, coming together as a community for the common good, and reasonable precautions, will help us all stay safe as we navigate the uncertainty. We ask for your patience and understanding as we adjust our schedule to do what we feel is the best thing for everyone involved. And we encourage you to do what you need to do to keep yourself, your staff, and your loved ones as safe and healthy as possible in the days and months ahead.
